What’s a Coci-Nica? It’s a small stove used to heat one pot that runs off firewood. We found over time that the majority of people in the area we work were simply cooking on whatever they could find. Sometimes it was a drum barrel, and sometimes it was the dirt floor. Coci-Nicas are designed to be inexpensive, long lasting, and efficient. The benefits include healthier homes, less wood consumed, and fewer burns. We’ve distributed several and hope to be able to fill the community with them.
